Past Events - AmCham Monthly Members Meeting - UNDP (November 29, 2006)
The first guest speaker of AmCham’s Monthly Meeting in November 2006 was Fikret Akcura UNDP Resident Representative. Mr. Akcura gave a very comprehensive and detailed overview of UNDP activities in Uzbbekistan
Our AmCham members had an opportunity to become acquainted with the activities of UNDP and were able to ask specific questions of interest to them.
Joining Mr. Akcura at the speaker’s podium was Terry McKinley, Acting Director, UNDP International Poverty Centre in Brazil who shared with our members information about UNDP poverty reduction programs in other countries
After the UNDP speakers concluded their presentation, Nazar Talibdjanov, UNDP Project Manager gave a brief presentation about UNDP sponsored Internet portal projects.
