On November 20, 2007 HE Ambassador Plenipotentiary and Extraordinary of United States of America to Uzbekistan Richard Norland kindly invited all AmCham members and guests to the premises of the Embassy in Tashkent to enjoy a “Joint Business Mixer” organized by AmCham in Uzbekistan and the US Embassy in Uzbekistan. Despite warm and cordial atmosphere, good food and drinks the participants of the Business Mixer were slightly sad. It was because the event was organized to be also a farewell meeting of AmCham Executive Director Dr. Okunskaya Tatiana Vladimirovna with AmCham members, partners and friends.

HE Ambassador Norland awarded Dr. Okunskaya with the Certificate of Appreciation from the United States Department of State for seven years of dedicated and superb services to American Business in Uzbekistan. On behalf of AmCham community we wish Tatiana Okunskaya personal success and professional development in Canada, and we will continue to work to develop our business here in Uzbekistan.
